Todd Combs grew up immersed in the world of court reporting, continuing a legacy that spans multiple generations. He studied Business Management and Aeronautics, earned his commercial pilot’s certificate, and later attended the Stenograph Institute of Arkansas to pursue court reporting. Today, he owns and operates Combs Reporting and is actively involved in training the next generation of court reporters. With a background that blends business management, technology, and reporting, Todd carries forward his father’s mission by leading a firm that remains at the forefront of legal technology and client service.

Over the past 60+ years, many members of the Combs family have contributed to the profession. Kenneth Combs, Merlin Combs, and Shirley Combs are survived by Todd Combs, Brandon Combs, and Renee Combs‑Quinby. The next generation continues the tradition, with Lindsey Combs‑Wolf currently training to become a court reporter.
