Todd Combs grew up in a family of court reporters. He majored in Business Management and Aeronautics and earned his commercial pilot’s certificate. Following college, he attended court reporting school at the Stenograph Institute of Arkansas. With his experience in business management, IT, and court reporting, Todd continues to follow his father’s mission and operates a successful business that is on the cutting edge of legal technology.
Brandon Combs continues to work with Combs Reporting. Renee Combs is an active reporter in St. Louis. Shirley Combs is a retired official reporter. Merlin Combs passed away in 2011 after retiring as an official reporter.

FOR OVER 50 YEARS, COMBS REPORTING HAS BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN CONTRIBUTING TO THE LEGAL INDUSTRY.
Combs Reporting has been a family-owned business for over 50 years. Founded in 1962, Ken Combs embarked on his reporting career and created Combs and Greenly, Inc. Nearly 20 years later, the company became the largest court reporting firm in Northern California.
Additionally, Ken Combs and his business partner, Bill Greenly, assisted in designing Reporter Base, the first software of its kind, which is now one of the largest calendar office management software systems for reporting firms in the legal industry. After building a successful company and developing an innovative software system, Ken Combs decided to retire in 1997.
Brandon Combs continues to work with Combs Reporting. Renee Combs is an active reporter in St. Louis. Shirley Combs is a retired official reporter. Merlin Combs passed away in 2011 after retiring as an official reporter.
